about

I bought my first camera while living in Cyprus back in 1991 it was a Russian 35mm. Absolutely no idea how it worked, so it went back into the box not to be seen again.

The next time I was introduced to a camera was in 1997 while dating a press photographer. I wanted what she had and went out with what seemed to be a whole month’s wages and bought a Nikon F60.

Over the next couple of years I owned one of just about every camera make available.

I landed myself jobs with the local press and magazines who sent me out on assignments to photograph people standing in front of the bank with very large cheques. I found this very uninteresting and started to think what else I could photograph?

Someone mentioned weddings to me I said “you must be joking”.

After a few more years developing my on images in the darkroom and messing around with all sorts of cameras and lenses I decided to have a go at digital. The Nikon D70 was my first digital camera, which seems stone age now.

My first wedding was took on a Nikon D200.………….no way!

And here we are many years later shooting weddings full time with big boy cameras, I must be doing something right. I even started to win loads of awards and was told that I had earned some letters after my name……………beats me?

My approach is very much chilled and relaxed while working within the background. It works great and nobody is stressed, oh and not forgetting we get some funky pics too.

I get to meet some amazing people while shooting weddings and hear some crazy stories at the same time.

My favourite camera right now is the 1955 Coronet Ambassador.

This is what I like to do………………just taking pictures.
